How someone built theirs
A real Auto user built exactly this — a Frame called Object Date — and their prompts are a good template.
They started by asking for a date with an anthropomorphic, Japanese-dating-game-style version of the object: five multiple-choice questions shaping their actions at key moments, then a conclusion that reads their answers and describes how the date went and where the relationship goes next.
On the second pass they refined the feel: characters should have randomly assigned genders, and the multiple-choice answers should be randomly ordered — they’d noticed one option always landed slightly negative, which made the quiz predictable.
The third fix was the important one. The date kept ending with a “something went wrong” error instead of a proper result. They told Auto plainly that every date must finish with a real conclusion guided by their responses. Once that worked, the Frame did what a good car personality quiz should: give you a satisfying payoff instead of a dead end.
